Unconformity Spring
The trail wound it’s way out of the Sierra Nevada and into the Northern California section. The mountains bled into forests.
Any section that has to follow the Sierras has a lot to live up to but the routines and lifestyle on trail in Norcal were just as fulfilling as the preceding mountain ranges that had seemed so unending. There was always something to appreciate.
We caught our first glimpse of Mt Shasta after hitching around the Park Fire trail closure. It’s a memory I’m glad to have captured on film.
